Management Accountant

A local family run business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to begin as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a close team overseeing the accounts for a number of businesses.

The Management Accountant will have a strong technical accounting side, solid analytical and communication skills, attention to detail and a desire to succeed in a fast paced environment.

The position will be 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with flexibility around number of hours, start and finish times.

Key Responsibilities:

– Delivery of monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss Reports)

– Managing SAGE50.

– Bank reconciliation and payments

– Income and expenditure management

– Annual budgeting

– Able to advise on current tax regulations

– VAT reconciliation

– Invoicing

The successful candidate:

– Organised with good attention to detail

– Excellent written and verbal communication

– Experienced with Microsoft Office and Sage50

– Strive to improve current financial processes

– Passionate and committed to fulfilling their role

– Professional and reliable
